Lactation Prep 101

In this e-course, you'll learn what you can do during pregnancy to prepare for the wild ride of nursing your baby! You'll also learn about the first week of your baby’s life from hunger cues to latching to pees and poops. We will also touch on common roadblocks such as engorgement and more!
Learn

We will practice nursing positions , I will point you to my favorite websites, books, YouTube channels and local nursing support circles, lactation counselors and more.
Prepare

We will also talk about how different birth interventions can impact your feeding journey and how to navigate common hospital roadblocks from sleepy babies to conflicting advice from postpartum nurses.

Induction of Labor

Learn

In this class, you will learn the difference between medically necessary and elective inductions.
Prepare

You'll learn the common steps of inductions of labor and I will help you understand the risks and benefits of the different interventions.
Advocate

Finally, we will talk about how to participate in shared decision making with your care provider when deciding whether or not to induce and also during an induction if you choose to have one.
